I wanted to find a case for my iPod that would protect it but without losing so much of the awesome design that Apple puts into the player. The clear cover over the screen works very well, but the wheel protector didn't want to stay on and just didn't look that great. This case fits the bill so well. Its minimalistic yet has just enough thickness to keep the iPod looking great. I am running it without the wheel protector and that fine, I was more worried about the actual iPod staying protected and it sure does. So unless wheel protection is crucial for you, I highly recommend this as a very clean and simple looking case (that fits like a custom glove) for you.
Plastic covers are a little flakey and don't have the greatest adhesiveness. Above average case. Nice and compact. No instructions included in box so you kind of have to guess how to put it together. Would buy again for $10.00
This is a good case for your Ipod. The clickwheel protector slides around and I have debated removing it all together. I haven't cut anything yet and don't know if I will.
It looks good and makes the Ipod grip surfaces and pockets so it wont slip around. They weren't too hard to install but others complain about problems with dust. It doesn't make it much larger, is easy to put on and remove.
The clickwheel and screen protectors aren't exactly sticky. There is a flap that covers the docking port that is definitely annoying but I haven't cut it off yet. It also covers the hold switch but has an outline where an opening can be cut.
I just made sure everything was clean prior to pulling the backing off. I have had to remove it and replace it in the proper position several times.
Great product and I like it but the screen and click wheel protector are very hard to install. I ended up not using them because of the bubbles.
I bought this case after searching the internet for a protective case for my 80gb iPod Classic. It's easy to place your iPod in because it's stretchy, but when you wrap your hand around it, you know your iPod is protected. It more than exceeds my expectations. The folks at XtremeMac listen to their customers and have created a very functional product in the TuffWrap. I made a slit across the bottom for my iTrip because it wouldn't connect properly when attached through the opening Xtreme already had. Other than that, I highly recommend this case for the 80gb iPod Classic.
